Did you know that religious differences can lead to divorce? A study has also proven that religious people are likely to have a stronger moral belief in marriage than less religious people who have greater chances of divorcing their partner. Here’s how to find the one with who you can share a spiritual relationship with:

They are Not Consumed by Passion
It’s natural to experience passion, but what’s important is maintaining your individuality. Passion shouldn’t be the only thing holding your relationship together, even when it’s an aspect in connection. Your relationship must never restrict personal growth — instead, you should be able to feel as though your knowledge of religion, opinions on Christianity, and emotional capabilities during trials have expanded with the shift in perspective introduced by your partner.
They Do Not Interrupt You
People in a relationship need to hold space for each other; for example, when one is speaking, the other must be listening without interrupting. When you value the opinion of another person is the only time to remain fully present for them. A relationship is created amongst equals, just as we are equal for God, but there’s no harm in having your roles defined for better handling the various aspects of your lives.
Feelings over Facts
How someone is feeling shouldn’t always be explained with logistics. A partner must be willing to learn and talk it out. If you’ve already found the one you share a spiritual connection with, you must appreciate everything you have for it to persist. It’s also good practice to do self-work together, it may be as little as pondering over the lecture delivered on Lord’s Day to rehabilitate each individual’s faith.
